A Review of HTC Legend Mobile Phone

It is a fact that mobile phones are now the fastest selling gadgets and the most in demand worldwide. HTC Corporation has once again come up with a gadget to behold-the HTC Legend. Users will be fascinated to glide their fingers on the ultra-responsive touchscreen to various applications.
Simple but elegant - the cool aluminum exterior body casing conveys elegance and style, and it's a little big without being heavy or weighty. With the Legend, there is no issue with dull receptions because the top and bottom of the back is made of rubberized plastic and the battery cover is part of the antenna that gives a clear signal. The 3.2-inch screen AMOLED displays true-to-life images.
The new HTC Legend is the latest version of Android 2.1 with an added new application called Friend Stream combining Flikr, Twitter and Facebook and displaying them all together. As you flick through your Legend, you'll be entertained and get updated of what your contacts are up to without the need to log in to all websites to check for an updates. The Legend dialer features a key pad, call log shortcut, a list of contact, and Smart Dialing wherein you can easily dial or select one contact without going through the hassle of opening up Contact application.
Heavy social networking users are quite happy and satisfied with the Legend's user-friendly operating system, only that there seems to be a bit of a lag when using Friend Stream. Nonetheless, the problem can be avoided by simply turning off the extra animations and other visual affects.
The 5 megapixel Legend Camera is decent enough as it comes with LED flash to improve low light performance. The lens does not have a cover so you'd better watch out or you might scratch it without knowing. Taking pictures is a pleasure not just because it has various shooting effects and editing functions, but it features Geotagging, Autofocus and more to make your photos look more vibrant and alive. Video recording is acceptable despite the wobbliness of the footage when in motion.
Furthermore, the voice quality and volume are excellent as well, so is the reception. The Legend sound quality is amazing both for phone calls and listening to tunes with no disturbances of crackling or distortion. This gadget has one interesting features that you'll notice when you make you first call - it vibrates when you're connected especially when you hold your phone away from your ears.
The Legend gives real entertainment to the user when it comes to audio entertainment and supports a wide range of formats like AAC, AMR, OGG, M4A, MID, MP3, WAV and WMA. HTC Legend is equipped with FM radio that automatically scans available station and allows you to listen to your favorite music from your phone to your car and delivers best-in-class audio performance.
Wherever you, the Legend connectivity features keep you connected to internet and cellular networks especially on areas covered by 3G. HSDPA is available at speeds of up to 7.2 megabytes/sec, along with HSUPA at 2 Mbps. Frequent travelers should be thankful to Wi-Fi connectivity for faster internet connection. Connecting to people through cellular networks is made possible through Class 10 EDGE and class 10 GPRS in areas with no 3G coverage.
The truth is, the life of the Legend's battery pack includes 20 minute talk time over 3G, almost 2 hours of fiddling through various applications, and an hour browsing through Wi-Fi. All in all during slightly heavier use it could last up to 2 days. To make the most of your Legend, a micro SD card allows you to store many files such as videos, picture, and music.
Overall, the next time you shop around for a phone, HTC Legend is the best gadget to behold. Aside from being elegant and tough, you'll love the experience of owning this HTC Legend.
